Australians didn’t think much about turkeys.

It was seen as an American novelty chicken and a Christmas Day delicacy. Aussies didn’t consider it as a regular meal choice or realise it’s a superfood.

We needed to create an identity that would allow it to compete with the patriotism attributed to Australian lamb, the masculinity of beef and the wellbeing associated with fish.
